Ici, le 5 juin 1944, allait s'ouvrir l'une des plus grandes pages de l'histoire de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. 
A 22h00 trois Albermales allaient emporter les premiers éclaireurs du D-Day. C'est de cette piste
que sont partis Bob Midwood, Robert Stoodley, Ted Eaglen. Ce vieux morceaux de tarmac
 abandonné, c'est le début de l'Invasion Allié. Aérodrome de Harwell, août 2012.

Here, on June 5th, 1944, would open one of the greatest chapters in the history of the WWII. At 10:00 pm, 
three Albermales will take the first pathfinders of the D-Day. Bob Midwood, Robert Stoodley, Ted Eaglen 
took off from this runway. This authentic part of tarmac deserted is the beginning of the Allied Invasion
